Naturally, not everyone agrees with that and amongst their fiercest enemies are not only rivaling gangs but also the State Office of Criminal Investigation. The more power the Hamady's gain, the more danger they are in.

Kida Khodr RamadanToni
Kida Khodr Ramandan was discovered during a summer camp of director Neco Çelik. He had his TV debut in the director’s movie “Alltag” (2003), before landing several different parts in films like “Kebab Connection” (2004) ), "Ummah – Unter Freunden“ (2013) as well as made for TV productions such as "Tatort – Das Muli“ (2015). In 2017, he acted alongside Moritz Beibtreu in the drama “Nur Gott kann mich richten”. He has been awarded many prizes for his role in 4 Blocks, including the German Television Award for best actor.
Veysel Gelin started rapping as a teenager. Using only his first name, he published his debut album “Audiovisuelll” in 2014. Three years later he founded the label “Bela Boyz” and put out his follow-up album “Hitman”. The record includes the single “Kleiner Cabrón”, that earned him a gold disc. In November 2018, Veysel released his third album “Fuego”. The accompanying single “Habibo” made it to the Top 10.
Almila Bagriacik had her on-screen debut in the praised drama “When We Leave” (2010). Her first movie role was for "Hördur - Zwischen den Welten“ (2015), that had her win a nomination from the Association of German film critics as best actress. In 2017, she won the German acting prize for her portrayal in "Mitten in Deutschland: NSU – Die Opfer – Vergesst mich nicht“ (2016). As of 2018, she is playing the role of investigator Mila Sahin in the Kiel-based version of “Tatort”. In 2019, she acted in the drama "Nur eine Frau".
Maryam Zaree was born in Tehran, Iran, but grew up in Frankfurt and studied drama at the Film University Babelsberg. Her leading role in “Shahada” (2010) marked her breakthrough and earned her many awards. Additionally to being involved with European co-productions like the Belgian drama “Le Chant des hommes” (2015) and theater roles in Berlin, Zaree works as an author. Her first documentary "Born in Evin" was released in cinemas in 2019. Her acting in “4 Blocks” won her a Grimme-Prize in 2018. Her latest works include the TV film “Transit” (2018).
Karolina Lodyga started her career as an actress working for TV productions like the praised series "In the Face of Crime" (2010). That role landed her important parts in several movies and TV series, including being cast as the lead actress in "... und dann kam Wanda" and "Heimat ist kein Ort" as well as the movie "Treppe aufwärts" (2014). In 2019, she appeared in the movie "Nimm Du ihn" as well as "Opa hat die Schnauze voll".
Massiv, whose real name is Wasiem Taha, moved to Berlin with his family when he was a teenager to join the local hip-hop scene. In 2006, he released his debut album "Blut gegen Blut“. The record was followed by several albums as well as his biography "Massiv: Solange mein Herz schlägt“ (2012), co-written by author Mariam Noori. His new album "Lativ" is scheduled to be released in January 2020.
Sami Nasser had his film debut in the 2013 movie “Ummah - Unter Freunden“. The following projects "God is the Greatest" (2013) and "After Spring Comes Fall" (2015) earned him international acclaim. Since then, he has appeared in several movies and TV productions, including the 2018 series "The Team", the Austrian production "Grenzland" by Marvin Kren as well as the movie "Nur Gott kann mich richten" by Özgür Yildirim and "Klassentreffen 1.0“ by Til Schweiger.
Erkan Sulcani made a name for himself as Cash Money Erkan in the German Wrestling Federation due to his technically strong fighting skills and as part of the tag-team "Cash Money Mafia“. He had his acting debut in the five-part web series “Helden der Hauptstadt” in 2015.
Rauand Taleb had his television debut in "Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter“ (2013). This act was followed by several roles in short films and TV productions like "Tatort - Schutzlos“ (2014) as well as theater plays like "Geächtet“ (2016). His role in the short film "Jeder Kanake gegen jeden Kanaken“ (2012), that he also directed, earned him praise at the Bavarian Youth Film Festival as well as the Franconia TV Short Film prize.
Emilio Sakraya has been acting since he was nine years old. He had his movie debut portraying the young rapper Bushido in the movie “Zeiten ändern dich“ (2010). This role was followed by parts in different movies like two "Bibi & Tina“ films (2014, 2016) and TV productions like “Mitten in Deutschland: NSU – Die Opfer“ (2016).
Ronald Zehrfeld was already playing at the German theater in Berlin during his studies at the University of Performing Arts Ernst Busch. His first big screen appearance was in Dominik Graf’s “Der Rote Kakadu“ (2006). His role in the series “In the Face of Crime“ (2010) earned him and the cast a Grimme-Prize as well as the German Television Award. Zehrfeld received another German Television Award in 2016 as best supporting actor in “Der Staat gegen Fritz Bauer“ (2015).
Oliver Masucci studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and was a fixture of the Ensemble at the Viennese Burgtheater. His role in the comedy film “Er ist wieder da“ (2015) earned him a nomination as best actor at the German film prize in 2016. He played the role of Ulrich Nielsen in the first ever German Netflix production “Dark” in 2018, for which he gained international recognition.
Ludwig Trepte’s first movie was “Kombat Sechzehn“ (2005), followed by parts in films like “Guten Morgen, Herr Grothe" (2008) and “Ihr könnt euch niemals sicher sein“ (2009), that both earned him a Grimme-Award as well as the special prize as best actor at the TV film festival Baden-Baden for the latter. He gained international recognition for his role in the three-part film “Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter“ (2013) as well as the series “Deutschland 83“ (2015).
Frederick Lau had his breakthrough at the age of nineteen in The Wave (2008), for which he was awarded the prestigious ‘Lola’, the Deutscher Filmpreis, as ‘Best Supporting Actor’. In 2011 he was awarded a Grimme-Preis for TV comedy Neue Vahr Süd (2010), in 2015 a Deutsche Filmpreis as ‘Best Male Actor’ for the independent hit film Victoria. In 2016 the versatile actor appeared in SMS für dich as well as in the fairy tale adaption Das kalte Herz. In 2017 the road movie Simpel followed. 4 Blocks is his second collaboration with director Marvin Kren after Berlin One (2015).
During and after his education at the Hamburg School of Acting, David Schütter has participated in many TV shows, including the TNT Series Original “Weinberg” (2015). He was awarded the Actor-Television prize for his role in the movie "Strawberry Bubblegums“ (2016). In 2018, he acted in the film "Werk ohne Autor“ and has been a part of the 2019 Sky Production “Acht Tage”.
Ahmed HefianeMohammad Al-Saafi
Ahmed Hefiane was born in Tunisia and completed his education at the l'Institut Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in Tunis. After several roles in the Tunisian theater and cinema, director Carlo Mazzacurati brought him to Italy for the movie "La giusta instanza“ (2007). Hefiane still lives in Italy and works for both Italian as well as Tunisian movie and TV productions, including the last movie of Stefano Sollima "Suburra“ (2015).
Rapper Eunique, born Qidinah Eunique Cudjo, originates from Hamburg and started her music career in 2015 with a freestyle rap that she published on YouTube. After that, she collaborated on features of artists like Joy Denalane and Veysel. She released her first Album “Gift” in April 2018, and it climbed to number 7 of the German charts. The same year she started filming her own YouTube reality show "Becoming Eunique“ that follows her everyday life.
GZUZ has been a member of the Hamburg-based group “187 Straßenbande” since 2006. His first solo album “Ebbe & Flut“ (2015) reached #2 of the German charts. His second release "Wolke 7“ (2018) made it to #1 in Germany. Season 2 of "4 Blocks“ is his Television debut.
Hassan Akkouch was born in Lebanon and grew up in Berlin Neukölln. The award-winning documentary “Neukölln Unlimited” is recounting the story of his family, that was briefly deported in 2003. After studying at the Otto-Falckenberg-School, he became a resident member of the Munich Kammerspiele. He had his TV break-through with the film "Verbrechen nach Ferdinand von Schirach“ (2011). Before joining the cast of 4 Blocks, he has been seen in TV productions such as "Hindafing“ (2017) and "Fremde Tochter" (2017).
Sabrina Amali was born in Basel. She started doing theater work with projects suchs as the Young Theater Basel while she was still in school and was also able to gain some experience in front of the camera. After graduating from the Acting School Charlottenburg in Berlin, Amali landed a position with the Salzburger Landestheater. She recently appeared in the TV film "Gegen die Angst" (2019) as well as the movie "Crescendo".
Moussa Sullaiman was born in Rojava and speaks 4 languages. He appeared on international stages from an early age and is both a successful screenplay writer as well as an actor, participating in various TV and movie productions across Europe and the Arab world. He also holds a Master's degree in sociology and is a trained journalist. In Germany, he is most known for his role in "Nico's Weg" as well as the "Tatort Kiel: Borowski und das verlorene Mädchen".
Lisa Marie JankeWinter
Lisa Marie Janke studied at the Westphalian Acting School Bochum and was a permanent member of the cast at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg. Other projects include gigs at the Munich Kammerspiele, the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin and the Comédie de Reims. She also took on a leading role in the play "Start Up" of the project "German Theater Abroad" that toured the United States for three months. She has been working with the artist Stefan Panhans for more than 10 years and has acted in many TV and cinema productions, including the second season of the Netflix show "Dark".
Tilo Nest is an actor, theater director and singer. He is performing at all major theaters, including the Schauspielhaus Hamburg as well as the Burgtheater in Vienna. Ever since his success with the film "Kaspar Hauser", he has regularly appeared in movies and TV productions. He recently started directing operas and tours with his music. In the meantime, he does nothing.
Damion Davis was born as Florian Renner in Berlin. He is an actor and musician, combining Hip Hop, singing and MCing in his art. Since his debut album "Kehrseite der Medaille" (2004), he has released three more records, the latest one being "Forever Ying" in 2016. In 2006, he released his first film, a documentary about Berlin called "Drehmoment" in which he both directed as well as filmed himself. The same year marked his debut in front of the camera as one of the leading actors in the movie "Wholetrain" alongside Elyas M'Barek. In 2011, he appeared in and contributed to the soundtrack of the movie "Blutbrüdaz".
